Spiritual Disciplines: Experiencing Jesus
Posted August 24, 2007
The Word “discipline” has a lot of baggage for most people. Being disciplined sounds like you’re getting grounded, right?
But the whole point of practicing spiritual disciplines is to experience freedom. It’s like the discipline of playing scales to become a great musician, or the discipline of running laps to create endurance so you can finish strong in the fourth quarter.
God is at work. Spiritual disciplines are simply a way we open up space for His power in our lives. And God will work. He is always faithful.
Join Pastor Marius Asaftei and embark on a journey to experience Jesus through spiritual disciplines. You’ll explore biblical teaching and participate in group activities to practice these disciplines and grow closer to Jesus and to each other.
