“I believe that God is the creator of romance, intimacy and all things lovely. In a society where everything is instant, few learn the value of waiting for something better instead of grabbing something NOW.

Today’s culture battles against surrender, discipline, and patience. Yet some experiences are sweetest only when they have been deferred. Romance is one of these.

Most young people receive little education about who to love, how to love, and when to love. They to be mentored into godly identity as men and women.

I see young women who have never been discipled into feminine maturity. Beautiful girls without poise or confidence. It takes authentic commitment to become a Proverbs woman – gentle determination and grace.

I see young men who have never been shown how to become true men. Boys without godly masculine mentors. Becoming an Ephesians man is a lifetime commitment. It is no small calling to love as Christ loved – to lead as Christ led, as a servant.

Before our young people are ready to love – they must know who they are. They are truly a unique generation – an generation of youth longing to be shaped into men and women of God.

The passion of youth is a treasure to be cherished. When it comes to romance, the waiting is agony – but the rewards are priceless.
I know – I waited.”
