Committee of Advisors
This committee exists to provide direction, credibility and guidance to the Board of Directors. These women are mature, experienced and dedicated to ministry in a variety of forms. Their knowledge provides a mentoring relationship to the younger women of ReDefinition Ministries.
G. Katherine Matthews
Mrs. Kathy Matthews is a mature woman with a varied background. Married to her high school sweetheart for 35 years, she has raised two daughters to love and fear the Lord. She currently serves as Dean of Girls at Oklahoma Academy, where she is surrogate mother to more than 20 girls.
With her husband, Tom Matthews, she has served as a missionary in Russia and lived for several years in Germany. They enjoy travel and culture, and share a deep passion for family life and ministry. Together, their home has been a warm and hospitable refuge for hurting youth, people in need, and anyone needing a place to sleep!
Mrs. Matthews is a long-time hostess of the 3ABN Television program “Thinking About Home”, featuring guests such as Richard O’Ffill, Dr. Jay Sloop, and Sarah K. Asaftei. She also presents “ReDefining Gracious Living,” a workshop intended to teach young people good manners and poise through activities such as banquets, introductions, table setting and overnight guest etiquette.
Adrienne Townsend
Pastor Adrienne Townsend is currently serving as Assistant Dean of Women at Andrews University. Simultaneously, she serves as an associate minister on the pastoral staff of Andrews University’s New Life Seventh-day-Adventist Church. Her responsibilities include providing pastoral care, planning, and implementing opportunities for students to come in contact with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Townsend holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and Psychology, MA in Curriculum and Instruction, and is currently completing a Master of Divinity at the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. In addition to this, Pastor Townsend was commissioned into the U.S. Navy Chaplain candidate program in June 2005.
This former NY city grade school teacher has grown into an accomplished vocalist and orator. Through her own organization, One Touch Ministries, she gives dynamic and life changing seminars and workshops. She has also traveled extensively with her singing group, Journey Ministries International.
Pastor Townsend’s hobbies include reading, singing, and encouraging others to draw closer to Christ.
Cindy Tutsch
Cindy Tutsch is currently an Associate Director of the Ellen G. White Estate at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Silver Spring, MD. Her position includes promoting an enthusiasm and understanding for Ellen White among youth and young adults worldwide.
Pastor Tutsch has been involved in youth ministry and evangelism for 33 years as a youth pastor, Bible teacher, lay ministries coordinator, and conference youth director. She initiated Youth Challenge in North America, an evangelistic outreach that uses teens to teach Bible studies and Revelation Seminars, do service projects for the community, and distribute gospel literature door to door. Pastor Tutsch is currently a doctoral candidate at the Andrews University Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary. She is the recipient of several awards for excellence in ministry and teaching.
She and her husband, Ulrich, have three adult children. She enjoys her pets and participating in outdoor recreation.
Agnes Moushon
Wife, mother of ten. Retired probation officer in Illinois Prison System.
